777 (jfk-lhr) v. 763 (jfk-bru)

I'm planning to fly JFK-FRA in July.

My main choices seem to be connecting through LHR, flying a 777, or connecting through BRU, flying a 763. I'd be in biz for the trans-atlantic flight, then either in biz or coach for the final leg (which might give the edge to BRU, as it's closer to FRA).

According to seatguru, the 763 has a better recline and 2" more pitch, although 1.5" less width (18.5" v. 20").

Which is likely to be a more comfortable flight? Is there a better alternative?

EDIT: could also fly through CDG or ZRH.
