Just a thought.

In trying to decipher why many following the time proven 8/65 are getting denied the long time members whom formulated the 8/65 guidelines are now weighing in with some theories.

One factor I haven't seen anybody consider is the possibility that closing a card could now possibly count the same as opening a card under 8/65 ???

Just a thought as the new never before 24 month language that considers opening and closing a card equally could maybe be being employed here as well.

I see that some of the members posting that seem immune to this wave of denials due to too many recent apps have 4, 5 open cards and so are not closing them as others are.

Just a thought.
