NYC-SE Asia fares are usually pretty low if you book in advance. I am seeing EWR-KUL for $500s in August-September, EWR/JFK-BKK for $700s in August-October, and EWR-HKG for $600s in August-November. SEA-HKG is also in the $500s a few times in the upcoming weeks and again later in the summer. I have seen really low fares to SIN in the past, but am not seeing many at the moment (compared to what I have seen).
