Sapphire Preferred/Reserve Lost/Damaged Luggage protection

Hello all,

Have you guys had experience using the lost/damged luggage protection? Recently I have, and I needed to file a claim with ecliamsline (Chase's outsource claims company)

They asked for a "initial claim filled with the common carrier". The airilne gave me a "Baggage Irregularity Report" and a "Receipt for Compensation" for paying me $50.

So I send those to eclaimsline, and they said "The date of the Baggage Report is not the same as you flight date. We won't take it".

I asked "What would you take then?"

They said "Ask the airline to write you a letter saying you did file a claim with them on the same day"

So I called the airline and they were like "What are you talking about I already gave you a report!!", I said "Please just write a letter it will be quick", they said "No we don't write letters you already have our form, good luck and bye"

What would you do next? The above story happened across a month and it has been frustrating...
