I am very interested in hearing the correct way of checking in for a group booking to best avoid bumping . I travelled on a group booking by a tour operator last month on BA5 (Tokyo) and managed to online check in ( only 9 on the same PNR) but two of the party of 26 were bumped and travelled a day later because they were told not to worry about checking in on line.
