I have booked a BA F award from Europe-US and will be adding a lap infant to the reservation. When booking the flight a message came up to call British to add the infant but after calling them twice both times confirmed Alaska will have to add the lap infant since its their ticket. And Alaska was unable to add our infant until we get her passport (in a month) and was unable to quote me the fare increase. Anyone done a similar BA F award booking with infant lately and can let me know what to expect on cost - lap infant and taxes? There was one old thread from 2007 on the subject but appears back then you did book the infant through BA. Hoping to not be on the hook for a multi-thousand dollar infant ticket..
