Here’s a new one: Citi is denying giving me the Sign-up Bonus for my AAdvantage Platinum Card ‘cause in November 2017 they replaced my lost AAdvantage Gold Card (new Card number and all.) This Gold card has been opened for a solid 6+ years.
...so they basically believe that I ‘opened’ a new Gold Card in Nov 2017 ... even though it was simply a replacement of pre-existing (lost) card and obviously Citi 'closed' the old (lost) card number and issued me a new card number !
I'm speechless. All I have got is the run-around by their reps and their (fake/made-up) guesses as to why I'm ineligible.
This is crazy !
