Yeah - I'd feel differently with an "oops" correction and explanation. He could have had a reasonable "we all make mistakes - always double-check us" thing. Integrity is kinda nice.
Speaking of which, it's still really my fault for following blindly. For that lesson, I really didn't pay too dearly.
