So I used to spend a lot of time trying to find hotels and resorts who would accept the codes

e.g. Book 4 Nights = up to 25% savings promo code Z4H or Z4R

however, whenever I did get it successfully applied...the rate would just go up by 30% or so and then it was not really much of a cost savings. Is it ever worthwhile to use these codes?

I see people talking about corporate codes but I don't really have any of those. Is there a way to use those even tho my company doesn't have them?
