Wow... is there no end to the self centredness of people with children that they can rationalise doing something like this.

I mean that is literally what a nappy is for, to keep your child's droppings contained until you can take it somewhere sanitary and private. I doubt unless their friends or family are total slobs they would go to someone else house and change a nappy on the soft furnishings in their living room.
