1. Wifi is slow. However keep in mind, their IT has a ridiculous system that requires manual (!) reset of wifi connection by typing in the hotel address and accepting T&C every 24 hrs. It does not automatically redirect. So if you don't know this, you get impression wifi died.
They also can provide portable 4G routers for free, but those are unstable too, no idea why. To sum up, get ready for issues.

2. No, you can't wear anything inside onsen. You may cover up with a towel when out of the water though, if you care to. Men and women are separate.
