I was recently on an AA flight where an obviously educated and affluent couple changed their baby in the seats in front of my family. No one should EVER do this. The smell was truly unbelievable. We directed the vents toward the offending couple, held our noses and prayed we could survive until the odor dissipated. It was a rough few minutes. Admittedly, this had to be the poop-to-end-all-poops, but still. I know I'm sounding ridiculous but, trust me, it was like being locked into the the worst never-emptied port-o-potty you've ever been to, with no opportunity for escape. I say this in hopes that somebody reading this reconsiders the idea of changing their kid at their seat. Don't do it. Ever.
