That's why part me doesn't believe any of this. It's "inconceivable" that someone hasn't given the full details with an easy to verify screen shot or photograph of printed materials.
Last summer Toyota had me deliver many high end gifts (bonsai trees) to the SPG St Regis in NYC for a Corporate meeting. From logistical phone calls to showing up at 6am to putting them in the right ballroom, ALL onsite employees could not be more indifferent to my getting my task done or navigating multiple service elevators and maze of hallways. A bellhop did take pity and allowed me to use his cart and I paid off the doorman to allow me to leave the car temporally at the curb.
I did see the requisite HR "welcome to Marriott" signs in the bowels of the hotel.
My point is that the rank & file worker likely does care about the boxes, announcement or loyalty program. We need a spurned desk clerk at a FI in Iowa with an ax to grind to take action!
