CJ, it sounds like you're referring to MR LTP. In order to see it on Marriott's website, go to your Account Overview page.
Just below nights, you'll see a 'DETAILS' link. Click on it.
You'll get a popup. In the right column at the top, it should say, Platinum Lifetime Status
That's where my MR account shows LT Plat.
Yes, that shows my numbers which show totals well above the LTP threshold. My confusion was that the poster's page displayed wording which identified him as LTP where the Marriott page does not show those specific identifying words. My thought was that might be in preparation of different treatment based on different numbers of nights and/or points, but now I realize it's just that we were looking at different sites: Marriott versus SPG.
