can't check bags more than 4 hours before departure
Does anyone happen to know when this policy was implemented? At SEATAC and had never heard of it, until today trying to check in 6 hours before a flight. Agent at ticket counter said it was "Because of cruise traffic at this station."

Airports with checked bag limits. You can't check bags more than 4 hours before departure when flying from:
  • Denver, Colorado (DEN)
  • Fort Lauderdale (FLL)
  • Las Vegas (LAS)
  • Orlando (MCO)
  • Salt Lake City (SLC)
  • Seattle (SEA)
