We have stayed at:

Moorea: Hilton, IC Moorea
Bora Bora: IC Thalasso, Sofitel Private Island, Conrad Bora Bora, IC Le Moana

I would rank them as:
  1. Conrad Bora Bora
  2. IC Thalasso
  3. Sofitel Private Island
  4. Hilton Moorea
  5. IC Moorea
  6. IC Le Moana

Despite the negative comment above, I think the IC Moorea is a lovely property to stay at. Snorkeling not as good as the Hilton. Not as fancy as the IC Thalasso or Conrad. But a fantastic use of points. As Spire Abassador we booked with free night certs and points in the Junior overwater bungalows. Comparing to a Holiday Inn Express is laughable in my opinion. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. OWB is great. We really also love the Hilton Moorea. Very accessible (barge) as opposed to a flight. Great buffet. One of the best snorkeling locations.
