There's a good deal on VGCs at Office Depot this week (buy at least $300, get $15 back instantly), but the connoisseurs at my local store have cleaned out everything except the Visa Everywhere cards. I recall that there can be difficulty liquidating some of these cards, but I also recall folks having success with the "Style Everywhere" cards at Walmart. Is that still true, and does it matter what kind of Walmart you visit (supercenter, regular, neighborhood, etc.)?
BTW, if Style "works," it's a good card to buy at OD because the fee is only $4.95 instead of $6.95.
And can I assume Style cards would be problematic to liquidate at grocery stores, because they'd be limited to stores that sell clothing?
Thanks.
