That'll also help after:

Wyndham to buy La Quinta

to help distinguish the La Quinta by Wyndham brand from hotels in other hotel programs that use the same "La Quinta" name just because they're located near La Quinta, CA (even though they have nothing to do with the La Quinta brand, which will presumably become the La Quinta by Wyndham brand after the acquisition is completed).
