Of course they will get you at main/transit security, so presumably you plan to buy overpriced water in the departure lounge.

Most airlines are getting a lot better about providing water.
I was just planning on filling up in the lounge with w/e free bottles they give, or at least buying some. Over 14 hours I could drink a couple liters, especially at 'altitude.' They did give me 2 when I boarded in SCL last month and had to dump my water at the gate, but once in PEK I had my water taken and they ran out on the plane.
