We noticed every time we passed thru the metal detector whether or not the alarm went off (BTW we never triggered the metal detector) - still were hand wand scanned and then searched - full on pat down - arms, torso, waistband, legs, and bottoms of shoes scanned with a strip of material then put into a machine.

Full on pat downs on everyone - no matter if they tripped the metal detector alarms...

Definitely found the Asian screeners were looking for something - explosive or chemical from the time we entered the airport till screening at security.
Maybe they received a tip about a possible planned attack ?
