Had a great eight night stay at the Roosevelt with my wife as HHD in March. We were upgraded to a King suite after booking some of the lower-tier rooms as it was our anniversary and wife's birthday. I found out when doing the online checkin that the room had no bath tub, so we were offered to pay $60 extra for a Luxury suite and so we did.

Regarding the new breakfast benefit, there was some confusion. We had breakfast every day and encountered no less than four different ways to handle our $15 credit per day and person. At one occasion, the server refused to give os the bill at all when we told we are diamonds (most dishes cost around $14 and coffee is 5$ in the Fountain Lodge), other times we got a completely normal bill and it was settled at checkout. And sometimes some combination of the two approaches.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay and the breakfast benefit routine is probably all sorted out now. And yes, you can skip brekkie and spend the credit on a sazerac in the evening instead...
