There's a new Hyatt Place scheduled to open this summer in Ocean City, Maryland. This one is right on the boardwalk at 16th Street - unlike HP Dewey Beach, you wouldn't have to cross a busy street to get to the beach.

The staff at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake were great with our kids when we stayed there, I'd recommend it. The downside is that the rooms are on the small side.
