So this may not be what you want to hear but it sounds like you’ll have to decide for yourself which you value more - convenience (and a widebody) or the MQMs. You can probably get a double connection via MSP and then LAX or SEA though I don’t think you’ll have any widebody options; or maybe even SLC to still get the widebody though that’d probably require an overnight in MSP or SLC and would likely require an agent forcing such an itinerary.

Another option is to consider being rebooked BZN-SLC/SEA-HNL and upgrading to FC for the MQM bonus. Or finding a cheap mileage run from BZN later in the year.
