Several years ago, I was the guy who carried an In-n-Out cheeseburger (animal style, obvs.) and fries on my flight home from LAX. I am sure the bad karma I earned from making the other pax hungry explains at least one of the times since that I've had a can't-miss upgrade mysteriously fail to clear.
