It looks like Avis Signature Series may be in the process of being re-branded as the Avis Select Series. On this page, it now says Avis Select Series but it looks like the name in the url hasn't quite caught up with the marketing dept. yet.

This could be to sync up the branding with Avis UK/EU which I believe always referred to the higher-end vehicles as the Select Series.
