1) I don't need a visa of any type to take the domestic flights, correct? From touchdown at PVG to wheels up at NKG it's about 14 hours.
2) On the return, I have a 13 hour layover in PEK. I'd like to get out of the airport and do a quick trip to the Great Wall. I believe I'm only eligible for the 24TWOV based on my entry into China being NKG. My time in China on the return in 23 hours and 45 minutes. Will I be able to leave the airport in Beijing? The layover starts just after midnight.

(Yes I know it's a crazy routing and will take forever, but I'm cheap.)

Thanks!
Correct, 24 hour TWOV allows multiple stops, including domestic.

For the return at PEK i’d recommend having confirmed hotel reservations.
