The WIKI has some details that might help, so I would read that and do your best to understand it. Mention to the clerk you need to change payment to debit before they enter the amount and after you swipe you need to quickly select change payment or the cancel button. OneV only work for amounts under $49 at a time, so they are no good at WM, but maybe a grocery store.
