Hello Everyone! I am new to the forum and I am looking for some guidance please to help me put my travel plan worries at ease.

I am a US passport holder traveling from SFO to Bali on April 29, 2018 and returning May 8, 2018. I am posting my flight itinerary below:

Flight There (Travel Time: 19h 14m)
China Southern Flight 658 (Nonstop)
Sun, Apr 29, 2018 - SFO - 11:55 PM - San Francisco, California
Tue, May 01, 2018 - CAN - 05:15 AM - Guangzhou, China

China Southern Flight 625 (Nonstop)
Tue, May 01, 2018 - CAN - 7:05 PM - Guangzhou, China
Tue, May 01, 2018 - DPS - 11:59 PM - Denpasar Bali, Indonesia

Returning Flight (Travel Time 20h 30m)
China Southern Flight 626 (Nonstop)
Tue, May 08, 2018 - DPS - 01:10 AM - Denpasar Bali, Indonesia
Tue, May 08, 2018 - CAN - 06:15 AM - Guangzhou, China

China Southern Flight 659 (1 Stop in WUH - Wuhan, China)
Tue, May 08, 2018 - CAN - 11:30 AM - Guangzhou, China
Tue, May 08, 2018 - SFO - 11:55 AM - San Francisco, CA

I am not as concerned about my 'flight there' as I am about my 'returning flight'. I have read mixed information about transit visa requirements and the ability to TWOV for flights from Guangzhou, China to San Francisco, California which stop in Wuhan. I saw that they updated the TIMATIC as of Feb 1, 2018, but with my trip only a few weeks ago I wanted to see if I am going to be OK to TWOV since I will technically be in China for less than 24 hours on both ways? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
