So had to travel to Atlanta from St. Louis last week for my daughters volleyball tournament Having to go through Chicago and flying on smaller jets (145) and needing to meeting wife and daughter for dinner, decided to use the new service that let's you check your bag and then they get delivered to your hotel/home upon your arrival. I think it was about $25 for being 19 miles away. Was worried this was just another opportunity for lost luggage (although i have been really lucky having never experienced this), but i must say bags arrived at hotel before we even got back from dinner. Took about an hour and half and received notifications throughout the process.

Only complaint is i should have done it on the way home, landed in STL around 10:30 after having the gate check my bag. Atlanta 72 when i left, STL 28 when i arrived. The conveyor that brings the bags up plane side broke, so the two grounds crew attempted to first throw the first bag from ground level to the platform, once that fell to the ground, they decided instead of carrying up the 20 bags (remember this is a small plane), they would replace the conveyor with a different one. Needless to say, 30 mins later (freezing), received my gate check bag. Could have been home in my warm bed and had bag delivered the next day!

In any case, service was excellent, would recommend for certain situations
