Once I went to Budget and was assigned a car from the Avis lot. Their fleets can be interchangeable.
While Budget does not have a formal rewards program, it does seem to continually renew its "Budget Bucks" promotion, which yields a $25-off coupon after every two qualifying rentals of two days or more. Because the coupon is not combinable with other Budget coupons, I typically use my Budget Bucks on one-day rentals -- sometimes one-day,
one-way rentals.
And Budget Bucks can be earned
in addition to miles or hotel points on qualifying Budget rentals. With rewards programs, it's usually one or the other.
