2. $50 statement credit for each of 7 months after spending $1500/month
3. 1 additional point (so 3 pts/$) on dining and ent. up to 10,000 pts in the next 6 months
4. 1 additional point (so 4 pts/$) on travel up to 10,000 pts in the next 6 months. When I grilled the rep about what constituted travel she offered #5
5. 1 additional point on all spending categories up to 50,000 pts in the next 6 months.
My fee will not hit until next month but I'm inclined to call back and take offer #2 immediately. Last year I took #5 and managed to spend $25,000 on this card but I'm not into MS and this meant almost exclusive use of this card for all my credit card spending.
Is there any reason why #2 is not the best offer?
