And Hyatt corporate isn't seeing that 1k per night anyhow. They're getting their % cut, whilst the franchise owner keeps the bulk of it.
So Hyatt corporate couldn't care less whether they get their money from a few nights from high rollers or a lot of nights from "grifters". Most, if not all, of the expense of housing Globalists falls onto the hotel, not corporate.
An empty room earns zilch for all involved - a marginal guest who chooses the hotel based on status is nothing but good news...
