I was under the assumption that Avis and Budget are the same company. Anyhow, my question is this... I'm looking to blow a bunch of Aeroplan miles on a 2 week convertible car rental at OGG next January. So same duration, dates, etc. AP website shows Budget for 145k points but Avis is 175k points. Same car class, etc. What exactly is driving the difference?
