Mentioning that food and transport is being covered by him may make you appear to be financially dependent/vulnerable and thus cause you problems. Having proof of a job to return to in Australia after a vacation from work could be helpful, but I wouldn’t suggest having such a letter at all. Having sufficient funds to travel on by yourself or change your ticket to return home earlier if things with the boyfriend don’t work out is better than any letter from the boyfriend.
