I did purchase a life-time HP Club membership last year. I see it as a great investment because it cost about half of a CO life membership. I live near LAX, so I rarely use the HP club itslef, but I certainly use CO and NW all the time.

If HP ever gets sold or merges, I assume the buying carrier will incorporate my life membership.
