This was for a booking that I set up for my sister, and I've just reviewed the screenshots that I sent to her when she booked it that day, showing the
$93.46 taxes and 160,000 miles. At the time, I also checked the same itinerary, but in economy, and it was 90,000 miles and same
$93.46 taxes
I can't re-do the same itinerary on the same dates, because now the availability is not there anymore, but I just did another mocked-up itinerary, with the exact same flights and some random dates, and you're right, the taxes are now showing as
$194.36.
