I stayed here last year for a business trip. I pick my Chicago hotels based on where I need to be in the city so this location worked. Hotel and staff were fine--it does get very confusing for taxis and Uber drivers to turn into the entryway so be prepared for that.

I agree the lounge was very underwhelming by Marriott standards
