I guess I was comparing PHX to LAS. With that comparison, PHX would seem lightning quick.

When I flew into PHX last week, the bags from my flight arrived within minutes of me getting to baggage claim. It would seem that I was lucky that day.

There would be no difference between CO baggage handling and HP baggage handling at either PHX or LAS, since HP handles it for both airlines. I have been told that will not change July 1, when CO puts it's own staff back on the Ticket Counters and gates at PHX and LAS.
