Ok, i've heard in the past a thing or two about reservations not displaying on AA.com once you've req. upgrades.

Well I am a little confused, since last week I requested an upgrade using miles to my LHR-LAX nonstop flight on August. The agent whom i talked to last week took my cc number for the new airport taxes ( why do they go up, btw? i dont have to pay new taxes when i get OP, why to I have to pay new taxes when I upgrade to C using miles?) Anyways, the reservation displayed normally up untill 10 minutes ago, when I called AA just to check up, make sure I am signed up and ask what number I am on the waiting list. The agent confirmed that I am on the waiting list, when I asked her about my number on it, she said that they are not able to see the number, then she did a lot of typing on the computer and told me that there are plenty of biz seats for purchase available, although the ones for upgrades have been taken already .. hence the waiting list. All nice and dadny, however, after I got off the phone with her and logged on to check on my rez, it was not displaying the flights anymore. Just the PNR and my name. Why?

Any similar experiences/ explanations/ideas?
