Oh hey I was just talking about this in the other thread. Just checked out today after two nights.
Nice enough property but there's two big negatives for me
- the lounge is rather underwhelming both in terms of design/look as well as offerings. Breakfast is very small and consists of only toast, scrambled eggs, pork sausage, 3 different fruits and some granola and a small selection of miniature pastries.
"dinner" offering Is one option of... Fried something, I didn't take a closer look. Dessert is one type of cookie, that was it.
"Business centre" is two PCs in the main lobby without chairs..
The room I got was rather nice, not sure how exactly the "upgrade" was an improvement over what I booked but it was nice enough.
Staff was extremely friendly, big plus on that part.
The biggest plus is definitely the location as it's within walking distance to pretty much everything, including the metro lines. And it was the cheapest offer for all Marriot properties in Chicago during my dates and for that it's certainly acceptable value.
