My kid is starting college this fall & will be flying at the beginning & end of the semesters. What's the best strategy for buying tickets? I'll pay a huge premium if I purchase one-way tickets (besides being profiled as a potential terrorist); on the other hand, I don't know exactly when he'll be returning. It also looks like you pay a premium when you book long trips.
