I just got stuck on one of these on a one way to Florida today. I reserved a Full-size SUV but the local National was out of pretty much everything when I got there. The Masters is going on this weekend in Georgia and it’s Spring break for a lot of schools, so larger vehicles are in demand. Got the 15 passenger FVAR version. About 14mpg and drives like a tank.

Going to return it in Florida tonight and do the Enterprise Florida drive out back to Georgia in a MVAR after some vacation time, so it’s not that bad.

One important thing to consider here, is to take National’s Collision Damage Waiver and the Supplemental Liability Coverage. Most personal insurance will not cover a vehicle with more than 8 seats, and neither will credit card insurance. (I.E. Saphire Reserve)
