Just finished a 4 night stay on MVP rate lower than nearby Hampton Inn and Garden Inn. Got a mid-floor room in the south tower (no upgrade, no view).Cookies both at check-in and on request, as long as available (afternoon and evening best bets, morning no-go, and late checking-in guests (kids) seem to be given stacks of them. Continental breakfast included for golds, with $4.40 (plus tax) per person up charge for full buffet. Status checked during meal with room number. Two shuttles, one to Pentagon City mall and the other to DCA, run every 20 min or so. Each makes a stop at Embassy Suites on the way. Parking is free on the street after 6 pm overnight on weekdays and all day Sunday. Good to know if trying to avoid hotel parking fee.
