Planning a trip to Osaka with four people, two couples. Any suggestions on reasonable accomodations? We just need a place to stay that is close to a train or subway station. It's hard to get over the realization that in Japan, for the most part, a double room costs twice as much as a single room.

You may as well rent two singles. . . although my wife might raise an objection. . . or maybe she won't.
