Yes, as always.
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
A friend of mine had a Karma Free Night Certificate that was about to expire and made a reservation for me. She has dropped to basic Club status and I was informed at check-in that only her status would count for benefits. I did talk them into upgrading us from a standard King on the second (!) floor to a King Premier Balcony on the top (17th) floor.
How are the rooms?
The rooms on the top floor have higher ceilings and the small balcony has a set of chairs for sitting and enjoying the view. The bathroom only has a single sink and walk-in shower. The HVAC on the roof overhead caused a sort of throbbing vibration (almost like being inside a drum). It didn't bother me, but my wife had a hard time sleeping.

What was good and what was bad?
Still my favorite Kimpton in NYC.
Despite the room upgrade, my wife didn't get a good night's sleep.
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Great value for NYC.
