Does anyone know if this is true ? I was once told that if a plane leaves the gate and returns, and the passengers are ask to get off the plane, that you can go to the ticket counter and request to be placed on another flight, and that airline must get you on another plane to our dsetination within a reasonable time. If this is true, what is the FAA rule to which you must refer ?
