You are correct. Deranged former PSA employee brought down a US Air flight in the late '80s outside San Diego, and it is widely believed that a deranger co-pilot brought down that Egyptair flight a few years ago. Not to mention the SW incident where they found it necessary to strangle a mental patient who hadn't taken his meds before boarding.
Personally I don't care how frequent a flier this guy was. In CA we would send him in for a 72-hour psych screening. Better safe than sorry.
