It might be the way BA records its schedule times but it wouldn't stack up in an EC261 case.

I'm not arguing the toss, just saying what you stated re EC261 is inaccurate and has been proved such in ECJ.

If for example the park brake was applied and there was then some problem attaching the jetty or similar delay in opening the doors then it is the door open time that counts.
