Does anyone know if tickets purchase through discount sites like Kayak, Vayama, etc., are eligible? It does seem as if I can determine the fare class I'd be purchasing from those site in advance so looking for anecdotal evidence. Right now the same ticket (NRT-DPS on May 1) is about $200 higher on GA.com than these discounters but it might be worth paying the difference if it means I'm eligible for bidup.
As a general rule, if the flight is cheaper than on GA's website, then it wouldn't usually be eligible, especially if the cheapest fare on the GA site isn't eligible. I've seen cases were one is booked into an eligible fare class when booking through an OTA, though I wouldn't exactly count on it.
