Not taxes... never taxes... fuel surcharges possibly.

But that is BA and Virgin, not Iberia in my experience... But then again I'm never booking Iberia rewards from elsewhere in the EU to see whether surcharges vary that much.

But, besides, the surcharges on BA.Virgin are higher ex-USA, so anybody starting over there has even more reason to book one-ways.
